Abstract

Actions taken by organizations, regardless of what sort, will affect them somehow, imediatelly or in the long run. Therefore, these decisions need to be made with precision. We tend to be, many times, influenced by the environment we live in, so, in order to make good decisions, we need to gather all the necessary information. This exercise will depend on the manager's knowledge. The more knowledgeable they are, the easier they will interpret and vizualize the information in order to make a decision. The need for a performance panel to gather all this information becomes then relevant, so that the IES manager can be more assertive in relation to the actions needed in order to improve the process. Following the context above, we were able to elaborate the following question for this research: How to evaluate the programme stricto sensu in Management, through the teachers curriculum Lattes and the institutional evaluation through the targeting three of SINAES, using the administration of the information of the technology in order to make decisions with competitive differential in IES? This research has then the following goal: to detect the performance indicators to evaluate the programmers stricto sensu in Management, for strategic decision making in IES, contributing with the competitive intelligence of the company. This research follows the quantitative method, it is descriptive by nature, and it follows the explanatory procedure. This research presents a new performance indicator vision in strategic level in IES contributing with the generation and administration of knowledge. The main results achieved by this research were the formation of the performance indicator panel, the confirmation of the possibility of its use for the development of strategic and operational plans of action for the programmers, as well as for the Institution, and other possibilities of analysis that can be done through it.
