Abstract:Intrastromal corneal ring segments (ICRSs) are an effective treatment for stabilizing and normalizing corneal shape in patients with keratoconus and other corneal ectasias. Intraoperative segment perforation through the corneal endothelium into the anterior chamber (AC) is an uncommon but known complication.
