Degree-Based Topological Indices of Boron B12

Abstract: Topological index sometimes called molecular descriptor is a numerical value which associates a chemical composition for correlating chemical structure with numerous physical properties, chemical reactivity, or biological activity. In this paper, we study some topological indices of boron and try to correlate the physicochemical properties such as freezing points, boiling points, melting points, infrared spectrum, electronic parameters, viscosity, and density of chemical graphs. We discuss these topological in… Show more

“…The degree-based topological index is used in physical chemistry and one of the most studied indices. It depends on the vertex degree of a graph, for further details, see [4] . In QSPR/QSAR modeling, the (degree-based) irregularity indices have several applications in combinatorial chemistry.…”

“…Saleh et al [16] introduced the first, second, and forgotten downhill Zagreb indices of graphs. Saeed et al [17] investigated degree-based topological indices of Boron B 12 , such as the Randic index, the first general Zagreb index, the hyper-Zagreb index, and others. Javaid et al [18] calculated novel connection-based Zagreb indices for many wheel-related graphs such as the wheel, gear, helm, flower, and sunflower graphs.…”
