Degradation of imidacloprid by Phanerodontia chrysosporium on wood chips for stormwater treatment

Abstract: The white-rot fungus Phanerodontia chrysosporium degraded more than 50% of imidacloprid in synthetic stormwater in one week, demonstrating the potential of fungal bioremediation for improved contaminant removal in stormwater infrastructure.
