Abstract:The effects of the residual gas pressure on the magnetic properties of CO-0 films were studied The coercivity(Hc) and squareness ratio(MrlMs) decreased with increasing the residual gas pressure. Among the species, water vapor played a decisive role in degrading the magnetic properties. Analysis revealed that the degradation was caused by decrease in the anisotropy fieM(Hk) and increase in the easy axis angle( a ) of the film. These changes in Hh and by water vapor can be explained qualitatively.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
