Abstract: 165 Key points• Gaps between evidence and decision-making occur at all levels of health care, including those of patients, health care professionals and policy-makers.• Knowledge translation involves using high-quality knowledge in processes of decision-making.• The knowledge-to-action framework provides a model for the promotion of the application of research and the process of knowledge translation.
