Defining and assessing disadvantagement

Abstract: Disadvantagement is often cited but seldom defined. Given the parameters of the recent Bakke decision, institutions must now attempt to balance conventional admissions criteria with a careful assessment of disaduuntagement among both minority as well as majority applicants.
