Abstract: Defective bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3) nanosheets, an artificial nanozyme mimicking haloperoxidase activity (hPOD), show promise as eco‐friendly, bactericidal, and antimicrofouling materials by enhancing cytotoxic hypohalous acid production from halides and H2O2.
