Deep-sea coral Lophelia pertusa laboratory maintenance and exposure to barite using water recirculation systems

Abstract: Drilling activities usually discharge large quantities of fluids and drill cuttings, which are composed of fine particles, such as barite, that can physically affect Lophelia pertusa.
