Deep Packet Inspection in FPGAs via Approximate Nondeterministic Automata

Abstract: Deep packet inspection via regular expression (RE) matching is a crucial task of network intrusion detection systems (IDSes), which secure Internet connection against attacks and suspicious network traffic.
