It is known to alleviate depressive-like behaviors in mouse models of depression. In this study, plasma BHB, ketogenic and glucogenic amino acids selected from the Tohoku Medical Megabank Project Community-Based Cohort Study were analysed and measured using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
