Decreased Platelet Function in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with Mitral Valve Regurgitation

Abstract: With aggregometry, increased platelet activity has been reported in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (CKCS) without mitral regurgitation (MR). In contrast, dogs with MR have been found to have decreased platelet activity.
