Decreased frontal lobe phosphocreatine levels in methamphetamine users

Abstract: BACKGROUND Mitochondria-related mechanisms have been suggested to mediate methamphetamine (METH) toxicity. However, changes in brain energetics associated with highenergy phosphate metabolism have not been investigated in METH users.
