Decrease in plasma B‐type natriuretic peptide early after initiation of cardiac resynchronization therapy predicts clinical improvement at 12 months

Abstract: Background: Decrease in neurohormonal activation during pharmacotherapy for chronic heart failure (CHF) is associated with haemodynamic and clinical improvement.
