Decomposition of Dioxins in wastewater by ozone/UV irradiation

Abstract: We experimen し ally investigated the decompositiQn of dioxi員 s and endocrine disrupting organic compounds 正 n the landfillIeachates by the ozone / ultraViolet irracliation ( 03/U>) , one of the advanced oxidation process . As the result or this study , the dioxins were decomposed to over 90% by O3 / UV . The cQrlcentration of dioxins was less than the enVironmental criterion .
