“…Previous studies have found the anchoring effect can be influenced by confirmation bias (Nickerson, 1998; Wickens & Hollands, 2000), and affective response may be influenced by the framing effect (Finucane et al, 2000). A number of studies have found framing can have a considerable impact on judgments (Goh & Wiegmann, 2001; Tversky & Kahneman, 1981), and group polarization can affect overconfidence (Gilbey et al, 2021).
