Abstract: Tumorigenic agrobacteria are widespread plant pathogens causing crown gall and cane gall diseases on various agricultural crops. These pathogens genetically transform its host plant and thus form an ecological niche (galls), in which specific metabolites (i.e., opines) are produced.
