Decentralized clinical trials: scientific considerations through the lens of the estimand framework

Abstract: While the industry and regulators’ interest in decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) is long-standing, the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated and broadened the adoption and experience with these trials.
