Decay Properties of Neutron-Rich Silver Isotopes

Abstract: 113 Ag-11 * Ag/Fast ehem. separation /γ-, β-, X-ray-spectroscopy Abstract A fast chemical procedure for the separation of silver from fission products has been developed. Using this procedure the isotopes 113 Ag to 11 * Ag were investigated by y-, β-, and X-ray singles and coincidence measurements. The isotopes were produced by neutron-induced fission of U and 249 Cf, and by Cd(n, p) Ag reactions.
