We report here on the first study of the level structure of 151Ho. High spin levels in lSIHo have been populated in the 141pr+ 160 and 144Sm+12C reactions. The level structure has been established up to 6.6MeV energy and the spins and parities determined up to 49/2-. Most of the proposed level configurations can be explained by the coupling of h 11/2 protons to f7/2 and/or h9/2 neutrons.An isomer with 14_+3 ns half-life and a delayed gamma multiplicity equal to 17_+2 has been found. Its spin is larger than 57/2 h units.Nuclear Reactions: 141pr(160,6n), E=101-131MeV, 144Sm(12C, p4n), E=82-ll0MeV; measured a(E;E:.,O), 77-coinc., 7-7 delay. 151Ho deduced levels, J, 7r, T1/2, 7-mixing, multiplicity. Enriched target, Ge(Li) detectors.
