Death anxiety and death literacy among Turkish adults with chronic illness: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract:Background This study investigated the levels of death anxiety and death literacy among Turkish adults with chronic illness and the factors affecting death anxiety.
Methods Study was conducted cross-sectional. A sample of 225 Turkish patients with a chronic illness completed the Turkish Death Anxiety Scale (TDAS) and the Death Literacy Index (DLI). Descriptive statistics, pearson correlation, independent samples t test, One-Way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis were used to dissect the data.
