Abstract:Rothmund-Thomson syndrome (RTS) is a rare autosomal-recessive disorder with clinical features consisting of rash, poikiloderma, sparse hair, short stature, juvenile cataracts, skeletal abnormalities, and cancer predisposition. Genetic studies involving detection of pathogenic RECQL4 variants provide the diagnostic certitude.
