“…With regard to the treatment of De Garengeot hernia, the most common surgical approach has been inguinal incision for both appendectomy and hernia repair; hernia repair is performed with suture techniques 1 . We searched the PubMed and Ichushi‐Web databases for reports containing the key word “Garengeot” and found four reports and a review article describing simultaneous LA and mesh‐based hernia repair 4‐8 .
