Data scarcity and ecological complexity: the cutaneous leishmaniasis dynamics in Ecuador

Abstract: Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is a neglected tropical disease transmitted by species of Phlebotominae sand flies. CL is responsible for more than 1000 reported cases per year in Ecuador.
