Das Verhalten der Elemente der III. Gruppe zueinander und zu den Elementen der IV. Gruppe

Abstract: Es werden die Zustandsdiagramme von: Aluminium/Indium, Gallium‐Thallium, Gallium/Silicium, Gallium/Germanium, Indium/Silicium, Indium/Germanium, Thallium/Germanium bestimmt. Show more

“…The liquidus in this system has been measured through thermal analysis, [79] weighting technique, [14,80] thermal analysis, and metallography. [81] The latter liquidus data seems not to be accurate and they are relatively lower than in other works.…”

“…In the vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) model for the growth of NWs [14], indeed, the liquidity of the nanoparticle inducing the growth is a requirement. The InSi intermetallic compound is however characterized by a very low amount of Si ( o0.1%) for To700 1C [15,16], a feature that leads to a quick supersaturation of the InSi nanoparticle that possibly induces the NW growth but, at the same time, should limit the NW growth rate. The cited works on In-induced NWs [9][10][11][12][13] often report results that rather indicate inefficient growth processes.…”

“…Although phase equilibria of the In-Pb system have been studied by many investigators [ 1, 2, 4, 7, Downloaded by [University of Tennessee, Knoxville] at 17:36 04 June 2016 13,15,16,18,19,22,23,25,[31][32][33][34], the data reported in the literature are not in complete agreement. For instance, the disagreement in the solidus temperature is as large as 40 °C in the (Pb) solid solution region.…”

“…Limited phase boundary information has been obtained using X-ray analysis [1, 7,13,19,21,[31][32][33]. Heumann and Predel [7] predicted there is a miscibility gap in the (Pb) phase below ~30 oc at about 50 at.% Pb, based on their thermodynamic measurements.…”
