Das Bandenspektrum des Schwefels

Abstract: Das Absorptionsspektrum des Schwefels ist in der dritten Ordnung eines groBen Konkavgitters aufgenomm~n. Analysiert wurden die Banden (3" --2r'), (2' --2"), (3' --3"), (2' --3"), (1' --3"), (2"--4") und (1" --4"), die im Gebiete ~ 3170 bis 3430 A liegen. Jede Bande besteht aus drei R-und drei P-Zweigen. Obgleich die Triplettau~spaltung erheblich yon der in 03 und S O beobachteten abweicht, kann man schliel]en, dal~ es sich um denselben Bandentypus handelt (also 3Zu--~Xg).
