Dark Soliton Behaviors Within the Nonlinear Micro and Nanoring Resonators and Applications

Abstract: Abstract-We propose some fascinating results regarding dark soliton pulse propagation within the nonlinear micro and nano waveguides. The system consists of nonlinear micro and nanoring resonators whereby the dark soliton is input into the system and travels within the waveguide. A continuous dark soliton pulse is sliced into smaller pulses by the nonlinear effect which is known as chaos. The nonlinear behaviors such as chaos, bistability and bifurcation are analyzed and discussed. The broad area of applicatio… Show more

“…Various solitons and breather solutions in the strongly nonlocal nonlinear media have been found [5][6][7][8]. Most of these studies focus on the shapes of optical beams invariant during propagation in linear and nonlinear media [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]. However, the study of the evolution of beams with a change in shape during propagation is rarely reported in literature.…”

“…The radiation force of highly focused Lorentz-Gauss beams on a dielectric sphere has been studied in the Rayleigh scattering regime [6]. An interesting aspect of beam propagation in nonlinear medium is the emergence of solitons, recently being studied in optical fibers using Ginzburg-Landau equation [7], nonlinear microring and nanostructures [8], left-handed structures [9] and system with parabolic nonlinearity [10].…”

“…Currently, many systems such as a terahertz optical asymmetric de-multiplex (TOAD) (3) , semiconductor optical amplifier (4) , Fabry-Perot laser diode (5) , ring lasers (6) , photonic crystals (7,8) , DBR laser diode (9) have been proposed. In this paper, we have presented an all-optical flip-flop system for logical processing operation and arithmetic operation base tree architecture, which can be used for an electronic circuit replacement, which can be replaced used for an electronic circuit (10)(11)(12)(13) by using dark-bright soliton pulses conversion control (14)(15) , the theoretical background is also reviewed. For our concept, the all-optical flip-flop operations and arithmetic operations of binary based on dark-bright solitons conversion behaviors can be performed, in which the coincidence dark and bright soliton pulses can be separated after propagating into the optical-filter device with π/2 phase shifted (an optical coupler) (14) .…”
