Dance therapy and self-concept change in psychiatric patients

Abstract: This study investigated the effects of various forms of therapy (individual, occupational, and dance) on selfconcept.Subjects were 29 psychiatric patients at Providence Medical Center who volunteered to participate in this study. The Tennessee Self-Concept Scale (TSCS) was used to measure self-concept both at time of admission and prior to discharge.
