Damping of Low-Frequency Oscillations in a Power System, Based on Multiple-Model Optimal Control Strategy

Abstract: This paper proposes a new control strategy based on multimodel linear optimization control (MMLOC) to damp power system low-frequency oscillations (LFO) faster. The multimodel control strategy is used to anticipate synchronous generator dynamic behavior and linear optimization control for generating a control signal uncomplicatedly.
