Damage-to-fracture transition through an Eikonal Non-Local (ENL) continuum damage formulation with embedded strong discontinuities

Abstract: The Eikonal Non-Local damage model (ENL) is an integral-based regularization method with damage-dependent non-local interactions. This contribution introduces the transition from an ENL formulation to a strong discontinuity model in a one-dimensional case.
