DaimlerChrysler fuel cell activities

Abstract

This report gives a review of the fuel cell technology used in DaimlerChrysler concept vehicles from 1994 to 2001. The motivation for the strong commitment of DaimlerChrysler in this promising technology is briefly figured out. The basic technical data of all existing fuel cell vehicles of DaimlerChrysler are summarized. Finally, an outlook of ongoing projects, aiming at market preparation is given.
