Abstract: Early peritoneal seeding and trocar site metastasis from gallbladder cancer have been reported after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Nevertheless, the role of laparoscopy in gallbladder cancer remains controversial. Two cases of early recurrence of carcinoma of the gallbladder after laparoscopic cholecystectomy are described.
