Cytomegalovirus Disease in HIV-infected Children—A Single-Centre Clinical Experience over 23 Years

Abstract: Retinitis is the most common CMV disease in HIV-infected children. Early detection by active screening and initiation of systemic ganciclovir reduces the morbidity.
