Cytochemical and Immunocytochemical Characterization of Yoshida Ascites Sarcoma Cells

Abstract: Some cytochemical and immunocytochemical investigations were carried out on actively growing Yoshida ascites sarcoma cells. These cells displayed an intense granular α-naphthylacetate esterase (ANAE) staining while the α-naphthylbutyrate esterase (ANBE) reaction was in part fluoride-sensitive and marked particularly in the large-sized malignant cells.
