Cystic Prolactinoma: A Surgical Disease?

Abstract: Objective: Since the advent of dopamine agonists, prolactinomas have been primarily treated medically. However, studies show conflicting data on whether these agents are as effective as surgery for predominantly cystic prolactinomas.
