Cystic angiomyolipoma of the kidney in a patient with chronic renal failure: a very rare variant

Abstract: Angiomyolipomas are one of the most common benign tumors of the kidney and can affect vascular, smooth muscle and adipose tissue. Cystic angiomyolipomas have recently been described as a variant of the classic angiomyolipoma, and fewer than 20 cases have been reported in the English literature.
