Open surgery consists of a small transverse incision, preparation of the hydrocoele, ligation of the neck of the processus vaginalis and cut of the round ligament [12]. The use of synthetic polypropylene mesh will prevent surgical failure, due to the fact that cyst may be associated with inguinal hernia in about 30-40% of cases [1,4].…”
