Abstract: Cyclic compositions in the sense of Springer [T.A. Springer, Oktaven, Jordan-Algebren und Ausnahmegruppen, Universität Göttingen, 1963] and Knus, Merkurjev, Rost and Tignol [M.-A. Knus, A.
