“…This brief scale is constructed to measure the core features of cyberchondria. Sample items include “After searching for health information, I feel frightened,” and “Once I start searching for health information, I find it difficult to stop.” It was previously adapted from the Croatian language and validated into Serbian (Vujić et al, 2022 ) but was also used in English (Farooq et al, 2020 ). It is a reliable scale with good psychometric characteristics.…”
