Abstract:Introduction: Immune deficiency is the main risk factor for the atypical mycobacteriosis infection and its progression. Erythematous, infiltrative skin lesions with nonspecific symptoms impede the diagnosis of atypical mycobacterium cutaneous infection, which is commonly mediated by Mycobacterium marinum.
