Cutaneous adverse events following the inactivated and mRNA COVID‐19 vaccines: Correspondence

Abstract

We would like to share ideas on "Cutaneous Adverse Events Following 771 Doses of the Inactivated and mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines: a Survey Study Among Health Care Providers. 1 " Both inactivated and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are related to temporary local injection site reactions, according to Bostan E, Yel, and Karaduman, 1although no serious systemic or cutaneous adverse effects were detected in the study population. Although the COVID-19 vaccine is good, we are all concerned that it may be detrimental as well. The current paper may demonstrate the observation of cutaneous problems following immunization in a group of vaccine recipients. It is still difficult to draw conclusions because there are no pre-vaccination data on the health, cutaneous and immunological status of vaccine recipients.A comorbidity in the patient could be the source of the problem. 2The immunization may or may not have caused the cutaneous issue.Co-infections that can occur after immunization in vaccine recipients may be considered a vaccine effect. Dengue fever, for example, can coexist and cause a rash on the skin. 2 Sufficient evidence is necessary to reach a conclusion about the vaccine's andrological effect.More definitive proof on this topic would be provided by a sample of patients with known pre-vaccination health and immunological statuses who were then followed to examine how the vaccine is associated with cutaneous health.
