Abstract: A caracterização das fases de embebição das sementes fornece informações relevantes para outros trabalhos de pesquisa, que envolvem, por exemplo, o condicionamento osmótico, onde qualquer decisão crítica quanto à embebição deve ser feita enquanto as sementes permanecem na fase II.
