Abstract: A flux analysis of the current-voltage characteristics of thin film frontwall illuminated and backwall illuminated liquid junction and metal junction solar cells A model tandem junction solar cell is compared with experimental results from the monolithic n-SilSn0 2 /n-CdSe/electrolyte tandem system and from its constituent cells, n-SilSn0 2 and n-CdSe/ electrolyte.
