Current treatment strategies in the management of canine dysrhythmias

Abstract: Abnormal heart rhythms, or dysrythmias, are a common finding in small animals. They can present a clinical challenge as some dysrhythmias may be benign and well tolerated, whereas others have the potential to be life-threatening and require anti-arrhythmic treatment and monitoring. This article reviews some common scenarios and discusses some possible strategies for dealing with these potentially challenging cases.
