Abstract:In the first-line setting of advanced soft tissue sarcomas (STS), the treatment aim generally drives decision-making. Anthracycline combinations with ifosfamide or dacarbazine are more appropriate when the aim is tumour shrinkage, and doxorubicin monotherapy is suitable for tumour control.
