“…It can be seen that FTIR spectra of original curcumin and curcumin nanoparticles did not show significant differences. Infrared spectrum of curcumin showed its signature peaks at 3508 cm −1 (phenolic O-H stretching vibration), 1628 cm −1 (aromatic moiety C=C stretching), 1597 cm −1 (benzene ring stretching vibrations), 1509 cm −1 (C=O and C=C vibrations), 1428 cm −1 (olefinic C-H bending vibrations), 1278 cm −1 (aromatic C-O stretching vibrations), 1024 cm −1 (C-O-C stretching vibrations) [13].
