Curcumin chitosan microsphere improve ulcerative colitis inflammatory response by regulating miR-224-3p/TLR4 axise

Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of curcumin chitosan microsphere (CCM) on ulcerative colitis. Methods: Our group selected 75 cases with ulcerative colitis (UC) receiving treatment at The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University as observation group, and 75 cases that were healthy and received examination at the same time as control group. We detected serum miR-224-3p, TLR4, TNF-α and NF-κB levels using the double antibody sandwich ELISA (DAS-ELISA). In animal experiments, our team applied DSS… Show more

“…The miRNA and microbial features with consistent detection (raw read counts ≥ 10 in ≥10% of samples) were quantile normalized and mean-center scaled. Down-stream analysis focused on six miRNAs (Let-7a-5p, miR-125b-5p, miR-224-3p, miR-205-5p, miR-29a-3p, miR-199a-3p) [ 37 , 38 , 39 , 40 , 41 ], and six microbial features (Shannon Alpha Index, Mycoplasma , Lactobacillus , Staphylococcus , Clostridium , Escheria ) with potential relevance to infant colic based on previous studies identifying their importance in nociception or inflammatory/irritable bowel conditions [ 42 , 43 , 44 , 45 ].…”

“…Ulcerative colitis is a chronic disease characterized by persistent inflammation of mucosa and submucosa (Beukema et al, 2021;Yu et al, 2022). It is difficult to cure and easy to relapse due to the disorder of immune regulation (Flowers et al, 2021).…”
