Culturally adapted mental health services: An updated meta-analysis of client outcomes.

Abstract: When clients from diverse backgrounds seek professional mental health services, several concerns may arise: Will this therapist respect my beliefs and values? Will this therapist promote mainstream [White/European American] worldviews and solutions? Can I truly be myself in therapy?
