“…Este libro invita a pensar, de una manera crítica, en la creciente instrumentalización del arte, albergado en los museos y estudiado sistemáticamente en las instituciones académicas. Siguiendo a un autor clásico sobre la interpretación del arte, Umberto Eco (1992), es como si de manera intencional se quisiera cerrar semánticamente la interpretación de la obra artística, dejando pocas opciones para nuevas reinterpretaciones, que con el paso del tiempo van cambiando, de acuerdo a las condiciones sociohistóricas y que incluso se pueden ver hipergene-ralizadas a artefactos compuestos por signos complejos (Valsiner, 2019).
