Cultural considerations for designing crossover applications for the visually impaired

Abstract: This paper reviews the overall impact of culture on the design of crossover applications, which are particularly intended to support the blind and visually impaired (B/VI) community. We believe that cultural differences have an impact on the proliferation and wide usage of any assistive technology.
